The 35mm adaptor for the camera creates stunning footage that closely resembles that from a 35mm film.  This brings the look of film for similar costs as video productions.  The look that can be achieved represents amazing value for money.  

Other equipment includes a dolly for super smooth motion shots, and of course a fluid head tripod for pans and tilts.  Interview with high quality audio can be recorded and when needed, professional lighting, voice-over, and other facilities can be hired in to complete the production package.

Utilizing Final Cut Pro as our editing system we can combine together footage from a wide range of sources to give you the cut you are after. We can also grade and optimize your footage for the format it is intended to be seen on, giving your audience the most enjoyable viewing experience.  To give you that extra reassurance Honcho Designs is also Apple certified to level 2 in Final Cut Pro.

The true nature of editing is not about pushing the right buttons on a computer, its about story telling.  Being able to build tension in a scene, ensuring the pace and timing suit the desired mood, and cutting sound in the right way are all things that a good editor should know how to do.  A combination of experience and training helps us achieve an edit that makes the viewer get lost in the story.

By combining our editing service with HD film like footage, motion graphics, and colour correction, you can achieve a final production of the highest standards.

Colour Correction ensures that the colour limits fall within the threshold of the device they are intended to be viewed on.  It can also be used to match colour between shots

Honcho Designs also has a wide range of de-interlacing methods for video. De-interlacing, combined with other processes can make your video footage look much more like film. The advantage of this is that you can shoot on video instead of incurring the high cost of film.  The filters used aim to preserve as much of the original quality as possible.

We now have a 35mm lens adaptor which can achieve the look of film while shooting, without going through as much processing in post production.

Be it high resolution High Definition or squeezed down to Flash for content on the web or mobile devices, you can trust Honcho Designs to provide high quality and efficient encoding.

The results mean far better quality for the same file size. This can be important where small file sizes are required to reduce bandwidth costs. It also means that formats such as MPEG2 for DVD return higher quality results.

If required we can also convert your digital NTSC to PAL using our dedicated conversions software which yields more visually pleasing results than some other methods.

Using content generated by ourselves or provided by you we can produce DVD’s that utilize all the features of the DVD format. The end result is a DVD that brings all the elements together in a complete package.

Various elements can be added to the menu system such as animated transitions, image slideshows, web-links, and custom actions depending on what button the user presses on their remote.

The DVD system also allows for optional content such as alternative languages, subtitles, and view angles. This can be useful in training videos where local companies employ foreign workers.
